Incidents

4th October 2009

On Claremont Ave in The Basin this car and horse float (complete with 2 horses, Will & Soverign) were unable to make it up the hill towards Mountain Hwy and with wheels spinning on the wet road started slipping backwards, finally coming to a stop only metres from disaster.

Knox SES were called for their winching expertise and heavy equipment.

With the car and float secure and winched away from the edge of the road and a very steep drop, Will and Soverign (the Horses) were allowed to exit the trailer.

With the horses safely out of the trailer the car and trailer were winched a few more metres up the hill.

With transport safely up the hill it was time to load up again
